VINTAGE 1960s FLORAL LINEN CAFTAN WITH MATCHING DUSTER
VINTAGE 1960s FLORAL LINEN CAFTAN WITH MATCHING DUSTER
This chic vintage 1960s floral linen caftan epitomizes the late 1960s/early 1970s groovy style– it's so fun and easy to wear. It's a two-piece set, consisting of a sleeveless trapeze dress caftan, with a matching duster/robe. Each piece is just as wonderful worn on its own, so you can mix-and-match to get countless different looks from this one set. It's such a great piece to pack on vacation! The dress feels like a cotton voile, while the duster feels like a linen blend, with flocking— the floral print on the duster is actually flocked, so it's on top of the fabric's surface rather than woven into the fabric's structure, almost as though it were painted on. The skirt the dress is lined, while the duster in unlined, allowing the fabric's beauty to really shine. I adore the picot edges at the neckline and cuffs— such a sweet feminine detail. The dress is gathered at the V-neck chest, with an empire waist and A-line skirt. The duster features kimono sleeves, with a single button closure at the neckline, followed by additional buttons from the chest down. Bonus: it has pockets! Made in the USA and exact fiber contents are not listed.
