Can I shop in person?

In person shopping appointments in our New York studio are available by appointment. This is a great option for brides, or just because. Virtual appointments are available.

Can I pick up my order?

Free local pick up in New York City is available

To pick up your order, use code LOCALPICKUP at checkout, or add this product to your cart before checking out. (The shipping costs will be refunded.)

Once your order has been placed, you will be provided details to pick up your order via email. The pick up location is in Tribeca.


How are garment measurements taken?

All measurements are taken from the garment laid flat. In some cases, especially when the fabric stretches, a range will be given, including the measurement laid flat, and the measurement with the fabric pulled taut.

  • Shoulder: Generally reflects the measurement between shoulder seams, unless otherwise noted
  • Length: From shoulder to hem, unless otherwise noted
  • Chest: Measurement from armpit to armpit
  • Waist: From natural waist, unless otherwise specified (such an empire waist, drop waist, etc.)
  • Hips: Refers to the low hip (as opposed to high hip) generally taken 8” down from the natural waist, which can vary somewhat depending on the proportions of the garment. Please inquire if you are unsure. 

How do I know the size of the garment?

Please pay attention to the measurements listed in each description. Any size or size range provided is an approximation, and a matter of opinion, which should not be taken to correspond directly with a modern sizing equivalent.  

Vintage and antique clothing often does not have a size tag. In many cases, vintage clothing is labeled with a size that doesn't correspond to modern expectations. I recommend comparing measurements of a similar article of clothing that fits you well in order to get a better idea of sizing.

Note that in some images, clothing that is too large for the model has been pinned in to simulate the fit that would be achieved on someone whom the item would best fit. If you have any questions about measurements or sizing, please send an email to shop@verybreezy.com as all sales are final.


Do you buy vintage?

Yes! If you have vintage pieces to sell, from the 1800s to Y2K era, I would love to hear from you. Very Breezy is based in NYC, but I buy vintage from all over the world, and am happy to help facilitate shipping if necessary.


Do you offer payment plans?

I aim to make sustainable fashion as attainable as possible. Payment plan options are available for all items that have been listed on the site for at least 48 hours. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to begin the process. If you are interested in a payment plan, please send a message to shop@verybreezy.com. 

Buy-Now-Pay-Later installment payment options are available at checkout via ShopPay. Simply select ShopPay at checkout to use this payment method.

Yes, we ship worldwide.


How long will it take for my order to ship?

Orders are processed 1-3 business days from purchase, unless otherwise specified on the site. This timeline does not apply to any item marked as “Pre-Order.”

Orders are shipped from New York City, and the exact delivery timeline will depend on the destination.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking information. You can use the tracking number to track your package with the courier directly.



What is your return policy?

Because of the one-of-a-kind nature of vintage pieces, and their rare nature, all sales are final, and returns are not accepted. Please refer to the Return and Refund Policy for further details.

It is the responsibility of the customer to Contact Us for necessary information regarding measurements, condition, etc. before completing a purchase.

 

I’m placing an international order. Will I be charged duties?

International orders are subject to duties in accordance with your country’s laws and requirements. The customer is responsible for all applicable duties, including courier-related fees. These duties are not collected by Very Breezy.
