This vintage lurex dress beautifully emulates the styles of the late 1920s and early 1930s, with its loosely draped yet figure-skimming fit, pleated gusset in the skirt, dolman sleeves. Though it was made in the late 20th century, it perfectly captures the spirit of the era, complete with trompe l'œil bow details. The blouson bodice with dropped armholes is intentionally full, which is offset by a defined waistband, which keeps the look flattering. The unique metallic fabric has a beautiful weight to it— it's a blend, comprised of silk, wool, cotton, linen, and synthetic metallic elements. The top of the skirt is lined for comfort and to prevent sheerness.
