This chic vintage 1940s dress is crafted from the most gorgeous gold embroidered duchesse satin. This fabric is so beautiful, and even more beautiful in person— it really glows. It's draped with a cleverly designed cut, with classic 1940s/1950s details, including a 3/4 length dolman sleeve with dropped armhole, which create an hourglass shape combined with the defined waistband. I love the way the skirt is only gathered in the front, creates a really interesting shape. It closes with a side zipper.
Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small and possibly Small, and there is room to let it out to make it larger; see below measurements and details.
Shoulders: about 17" (note the shoulders are meant to be dropped)
Chest: 37.5" (not meant to be fitted in this area)
Waist: 25" (NOTE: waist was taken in at one point and there is room to easily let it out by about an inch to make the waist closer to 26/26.5")
