This vintage 1980s Wayne Clark dress is pure magic— the majestic purple color somehow looks amazing on everyone. Wayne Clark is a Canadian designer, known for his custom couture designs and glamorous eveningwear. The diamond-shaped quilted bodice creates an hourglass shape. I adore these wonderfully voluminous sheer bishop sleeves (they remind me of I Dream of Jeannie) with buttons and the cuff that match the buttons down the back. The skirt consists of many layers of chiffon, so that it's not sheer, and the fabric has the most beautiful movement. Did I mention it has pockets?! The fabric is not listed but it feels like silk. Great vintage condition overall. There is a hole in one of the chiffon skirt layers at the bottom, as well as some other very minor runs/pinholes, but because there are so many layers of fabric it isn’t noticeable and presents perfectly when worn.
