Antique 19th Century Egyptian Revival Silver Belt
Antique 19th Century Egyptian Revival Silver Belt
This antique 19th century Egyptian revival belt is an extremely rare antique and one of the coolest pieces I've ever had in my collection. It is rendered in exquisite detail, with fourteen individual panels depicting Egyptian Gods and Pharaohs in various scenes, against a background of intricate silver filigree. It is set with a large polished turquoise cabochon. It is is not hallmarked or signed, but it is crafted of sterling silver or a silver alloy with similar silver contents. It closes with a large hidden hook; length when worn is about 27" (actual length is a bit longer because of decorative covering over the closure). Fits size X-Small and Small.
Great antique condition. One one of the panels, a tiny piece of detail (about 5 mm iin size) is missing; this is literally only noticeable when comparing it to the same panel in other places on the belt, and is absolutely not noticeable otherwise/does not detract from the beauty and craftsmanship of the piece. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
