Antique Edwardian Swiss Dot Skirt
Antique Edwardian Swiss Dot Skirt
This antique Edwardian Swiss dot skirt is the dreamiest thing. Thee soft cotton voile has an amazing handfeel, and is hand-embroidered with Swiss dot all over. Its shape is classic Edwardian, with a straight cut in the front and gathering in the back to create slight volume on the backside— it's a train-like shape without the length. There are romantic flounce details at the hem. It closes at the side waist with hidden snaps. This is a fun piece for a cool, unexpected bridal look. The Antique Victorian Corset Cover, Antique Victorian Lace-Inset Chemise, and Vintage earrings pictured are also available.
Measurements: As-is, this will best fit a modern size X-Small or possibly Small. but there is room to let the waist out and make it larger.
Waist: 24" laid flat, up to 25" pulled taut
Length: 45"
Overall it's in great antique condition for its age; note that these antique pieces are not without their imperfections, as this piece is over 120 years old. There is some wear commensurate with age, including minor loss to the embroidery, but because it's tonal/monochromatic, it's not noticeable when worn. The skirt presents beautifully! With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
