Made in France in the 1980s, these vintage Zoe Coste gold chain earrings feel so modern and relevant, a testament to their timeless appeal. Zoe Coste was a costume jeweler who started her business in France in the 1970s, and later moved to the US. She was known for her incredible quality costume jewelry, crafting pieces with fine jewelry techniques, and is credited with really making high-end costume jewelry boom in the 1980s. These earrings have high-shine surface, with large-scale chainmail cascading from the oversized square head. The chain mail is flexible and moves like mesh. They are finished with a clip-on lever back, and despite their size, these earrings are lightweight and comfortable (as is the case with most vintage clip-ons compared to modern jewelry, because of the quality that went into their hand-made construction.) Signed ZOE COSTE, measures 83 mm long.
Great vintage condition. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
