This large antique sterling silver locket dates to the 19th century, and features a beautiful scrolling motif etched into BOTH sides of the locket. (I love when the design is consistent on both sides.) Also noteworthy is the substantial size of this locket! Lockets are so romantic, and make the perfect gifts— it's a functioning locket that opens with a hinge; and can carry a memento of any sort inside. Note that the chain is not included but you have the option to add a sterling silver chain if you need one; the bale is the perfectly generous size and will accomodate most chains, if you have one you like. Hallmarked "925" for sterling silver.
