Late 1950s Watercolor Floral Shift Dress
Late 1950s Watercolor Floral Shift Dress
I absolutely love the print on this dress— the watercolor floral and dreamy blue/green palette remind me of a Monet painting. This dress was made in the late 1950s (or possibly early 1960s, sometime between 1958-1962) and the construction details are so thoughtful— when you find modern dresses that are this well made, they are extremely expensive, due to the labor required. Look at the draping from the shoulders, as well as the seams in the back, which give shape without taking away from that easy shift silhouette. The fabric is really lightweight and airy, making this the perfect summer dress. Closes with a back zipper.
Great vintage condition, with very minor wear commensurate with age including some discoloration at interior, which is not visible when worn. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
