This highly unique vintage charm bracelet was made by Roger Van S, an American jeweler active from 1945 until the mid 1960s, known for making luxury handbags and high quality costume jewelry, retailed at places like B. Altman and Neiman-Marcus. His pieces are highly collectible and hard to come by. This bracelet is extremely unique, featuring whimsical charms including a perfume bottle, pail, pan, and a treasure chest that actually opens— it has a secure latch, so something can be placed inside. Even the chain is quite intricate. It's plated with solid gold and measures 7.75", can also be worn shorter by attaching the C-ring clasp to a different link on the chain. Please note it is not signed; it may have lost the link that was signed in a previous alteration, but it was also common for Roger Van S pieces to be be hallmarked on the piece itself.
