This beautifully unique vintage cardigan was made in Austria in the late 1930s/early 1940s. It features a gorgeous allover cotton soutache embroidery on a woolen mesh, in a deep indigo blue. It has a slightly oversized shape but darts at the chest make it flattering, providing some shape, along with the balance of the sloped shoulders and bracelet-length sleeves. There are no closures, as it is meant to be worn open, but it would be easy to add some hooks if desired.
Measurements: Will fit a wide range of sizes depending on desired fit (X-Small-Large)— can be worn oversized or more fitted: there are no closures and the material stretches. Measurements are taken with piece laid flat an unstretched, so there is more flexibility beyond these due to the open front. Shown on a size Small and it's a bit oversized but works.
