Vintage 1940s Diamanté Parure Necklace And Earclips
Vintage 1940s Diamanté Parure Necklace And Earclips
The only things better than finding one of these increasingly rare diamanté jewels is find a set of them— still in their original box! This parure was made in the 1940s by jeweler Phyllis originals. The festoon style of the necklace recalls the romantic styles of the Georgian and Regency eras. The earrings climb up the ear, like a shooting star. They feature a combination of round, pear, and baguette stones, each one individually prong set using methods normally reserved for diamonds — they don't make costume jewelry like this any more! Earrings clip on with a screw back, and the necklace closes with a box closure. The earrings measure about 1.5" in total length, and the necklace is about 15.5" long. The original box pictured is included!
Great vintage condition. The very last stone in the back of the necklace is missing, but it's completely not noticeable when worn due to the placement. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
