This vintage 1940s dress features a peplum at the waist and embellishment at the bottom. The crepe material falls beautifully, and the rich cranberry hue really stands out. The waist is emphasized by a belt, and peplums extend over the hips. The shape of the bodice is classic 1940s— it's meant to be loosely fitted, but just skim the body, rather than hugging every curve.
