Circa late 1940s, this beautiful ivory basketweave box bag was made by Magid, the New York handbag brand, whose innovative designs are highly collectible today. It features "ribbons" of basketweave acrylic satin, with a beautiful pearlescent finish. The pearly hue makes this a great "Something Old" for a bridal look— one that you'll wear long after the wedding. It features three metal handles that move independently, which have an Art Deco feel. It closes with a turn clasp. Made in Japan with beautiful craftsmanship. Measures 23 cm wide x 14.5 cm tall x just over 6 cm deep.
