Circa late 1950s/early 1960s, this rare vintage eyelet wiggle dress is so coquettishly chic, and completely one-of-a-kind. It features a strapless corset bodice, with boning in front and on sides to hold you in and create that hourglass shape. This one-of-a-kind, custom-made dress was really made with the most couture-like attention to detail, with gorgeous pleating at the bust, accented by a bow detail and a yoke waistband, extending from under the bust to the natural waist. In true wiggle-dress fashion, it remains fitted through the hips. The cotton fabric has an floral eyelet embroidery— it's somewhere between a very deep navy blue and a soft black; one of those shades that will look black when put next to black and look navy when put next to navy— the best of both worlds and very easy to pair. The dress is fully lined in a super light lining to prevent sheerness, and it closes in the back with a zipper.
