This incredible vintage 1950s gingham fit and flare dress is a custom made, one-of-a-kind wonder— you'll never find another one like it. There are few things I love more than red gingham; the print is juxtaposed by an organdy overlay, adding more sweetness. The dress has an iconic 1950s hourglass shape, and the gingham trim details that sit on top serve to emphasize that shape— look at how the pieces on the bodice at the waist almost mimic the boning of a corset. These same lengthening lines continue down the skirt, finished with little bow details— so cute! Note the gathering at the chest and button details. Every bit of this piece is so thoughtful and SO romantic. Closes with a side zipper.
