This vintage Miriam Haskell-style abstract leaf demi-parure is comprised of a necklace and matching clip-on earrings. It is not signed, but it very well may have been made by Miriam Haskell, circa 1950s. Both pieces are heavily clustered with golden and hematite-toned chips, forming what appear to be little leaves on a branch— leaf motifs of this sort are a hallmark of Miriam Haskell's work. The necklace is very adjustable inn length, making it possible to wear as a true choker, or a bit longer— it adjusts from about 14" to about 16.5". The ornamentation sits on a book chain, which is very much typical of Haskell's work. The earrings clasp with a clip-on lever back— vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. They measure 28mm diameter at widest points, and are intentionally irregular in shape.
