This 1950s peignoir is a holy grail item for vintage lingerie collectors. It's complete with gorgeous red rose embroidery, overtop gossamer mesh, for a look that feels borrowed from the pages of a fairytale. The peter pan collar and lace trim are so very sweet. It closes with two buttons at the top. It was made in the USA.
Measurements: Will fit a wide range of sizes. The below measurements are taken with buttons fastened.
Shoulders: 18.5"
Chest: 42" under armpits, laid flat (does not account for gathering etc.)
Length: 41.5" from shoulder to hem
Great vintage condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. The sleeves used to have elastic at the bottom, and I personally like them without but that could be added...
