These vintage midcentury ruby crystal ear climber earrings feel very modern, but they are actually a style that was very popular inn the 1950s. They feature marquise-cut ruby-toned crystals in a wing formation, and a single colorless round crystal, climbing up the ear. Though they are not signed, this design is attributed to the Juliana line by DeLizza & Elster, which today is rare and highly collectible. The earrings can be positioned more straight, or at an angle. Because there is no drop, they work well with a wide range of other jewelry and accessories. They fasten with a clip-on lever back and are extremely comfortable to wear– vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. Measures 25 mm long x 18 mm wide.
