Vintage 1950s Tiered Circle Skirt with Ribbon Appliqué
Vintage 1950s Tiered Circle Skirt with Ribbon Appliqué
I love a vintage 1950s circle skirt because they are so versatile and wearable, and this piece is no exception— it's so easy to throw on with a tiny top on sweltering summer days, but it will be just as cute layered with knit stocking, boots, cardigans, etc. come fall and winter. The neutral toffee color only adds to the wearability. Made of lightweight cotton, this skirt features gathered tiers, which form a true circle skirt shape with lots and lots of volume, creating gorgeous movement with your every turn. I adore the Tyrolean ribbon appliqué separating each tier, which is bordered by metallic gold ric rac trim on either side. It's so beautifully made, with each seam finished with such care. Wear with a crinoline petticoat underneath for even more volume, creating that 1950s hourglass shape. Closes at the side waistband with snaps and hooks.
Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small and Small but please refer to below measurements to be sure. It is possible to let out the waist and make it larger.
