These charming vintage Trifari earrings feature a lily of the valley flower, sculpted in gold and punctuated with pearls for a sculptural effect. I love that they are positioned on an angle to frame the face. Made by Trifari in the late 1950s, the craftsmanship is so beautiful, and can be attributed to Alfred Philippe, Trifari's designer from 1930-1968, who was already famous for developing an invisible stone setting for Van Cleef & Arpels.The classic gold and pearl combination make them a perfect "Something Old" for a bride— one that will be worn for years to come. They are finished with a clip-on lever back, and are exceptionally lightweight and comfortable. Vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. Measures 3 cm long x 23 mm at widest point.
