Vintage 1960s Beaded Handkerchief Hem Gown | M
Vintage 1960s Beaded Handkerchief Hem Gown | M
This vintage 1960s beaded gown feels like something Elizabeth Taylor would have worn! It's full of thoughtful design details that make the dress unique. The "sharkbite" hemline here is so cool: it's shorter in the center, with a longer slight train extending from either side. The bodice is created with artfully pleated chiffon tacked into place in some spots, and punctuated by a beaded sequin and pearl X. I would call this color a soft black— depending on the lighting it can read more black, or midnight blue. This dress was made in the 60s by Seaton Enterprises, who created some stunning eveningwear in this period. The Vintage Fox Fur Jacket pictured is also available.
It's in good, wearable vintage condition overall, but there is some minor loss to the beading; you really wouldn't notice it when worn. But, it's not in perfect condition, and I'm offering it as-is at the moment, so it is priced accordingly. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
