I am a sucker for a vintage cardigan twinset, and this one is perfect, consisting of a short sleeve cardigan and matching shell. Made in the 1960s, it gives a preppy vibe, thanks to the red and white striped trim on the navy blue. I love the little pocket details and collar on the cardigan. This piece recalls the same 1960s preppy aesthetic that Miuccia Prada has returned to season after season with Prada and Miu Miu collections. This preppy aesthetic is also something Karl Lagerfeld explored heavily in 90s Chanel collections. (One of my favorite things about vintage fashion is moments like these, where I'm reminded of a recent collection, but in reality, the designer drew inspiration from pieces like these, making it, in a way, the "original." See reference images below!) The cardi has no closures, which shows off the matching shell underneath, but you could easily layer it over other pieces as well. There are no fiber contents listed but it feels like a cotton blend.

Measurements:  The material stretches (especially the ribbed hem), and the cardigan has no closures, which makes sizing somewhat flexible. Measurements given reflect the unstretched and stretched measurements.Fits similar to a size X-Small-Medium.

Chest: 30-38"+ with stretch
Waist: 29-35"+  with stretch
Opening at hem: 21-38"+ with stretch
Length: 21" from shoulder to hem
Cardigan: No closure so Chest and Waist measurements are flexible
