Vintage 1960s Ikat Print Bodycon V-Neck Maxidress
Vintage 1960s Ikat Print Bodycon V-Neck Maxidress
This is vintage ikat print bodycon v-neck maxidress is an original from the late 1960s, although it looks much more modern! It's so flattering on, with a surplice V-neckline in a black ponte-like fabric, a yoke, waistband, and a long skirt in purple and pink mixed Ikat prints. What makes this piece unique from your typical vintage maxidress is the narrow, column-like cut of the skirt, creating a decidedly sexy, bodycon shape throughout fluttering out ever-so-slightly at the hem. This style was copied a lot in the 90s, so you will find more modern dresses in the vibe, but it's harder to find an original from this era. It was likely picked up as a souvenir on a trip to Hawaii or some such destination.
The Vintage Turquoise Silver Belt pictures is also available.
