This vintage 1960s ivory brocade wiggle dress with matching coatdress is so sophisticated and utterly chic– you can picture Jackie Kennedy wearing this set. The silhouette is classic early 1960s, the dress having a fitted, true wiggle dress shape, and the coat having a slightly more boxy look. It truly is two distinct looks, as the dress can be worn solo as well. It's crafted from the most gorgeous cream brocade, and I cannot say how beautiful this fabric is— it has high-shine satin elements, offset by a matte corded texture in other parts, for a multidimensional, expensive look. The coat buttons at the top, then flares open to a slight A-line shape— to show off what's underneath. The bow overlay adds to the ladylike look. The dress fastens with a zipper and hook.
