Made in the late 1950s/early 1960s, this dress is crafted from the most lightweight cotton/silk voile, making it perfect for balmy weather. In a beautiful pistachio hue, the fabric is subtlety striped and lightly embossed, with a light sheen, making the fabric's woven pattern more visible when the light hits it different ways. It has a great handfeel! The bodice is pleated, with the pleats tacked town, and at the skirt, the pleats are released to create fullness. There is a ribbon tie belt at the waistband. This dress was custom made and is one-of-a-kind. Closes with a back zipper.

Great vintage condition overall, with minor wear commensurate with age, including minor discoloration at the underarm. Some stitches were released near waistband but they are not visible when worn/are completely covered by belt.
