This vintage 1960s cotton printed maxidress was picked up on a trip to Thailand in the 1960s, and features a gorgeous Thai block print, in emerald green and peacock blue. The print is so unique and vibrant, conjuring Slim Aarons photographs of Capri in the 1960s— I absolutely adore it! Made of 100% cotton, it's super lightweight and breathable, making it great for hot weather— you can easily throw this over a swim suit, or dress it up for night— and even wear it in the cooler months with layers. It's unlined, breezy, and so comfortable— the fit is intentionally relaxed, with a slit up each side for ease of movement. It even works as a maternity dress, because of the lack of waistband/structure. The corded neckline ties in the back; beneath the tie there is a keyhole opening, and a zipper closure lower down.
Measurements: Will fit a range of sizes thanks to the relaxed fit (likely X-Small, Small, and Medium) but please refer to below measurements to be sure.
Chest: 37"
Waist: 36"
Hips: 39"
Length: 49"
Great vintage condition. Note that there is some natural color bleeding with is quite natural with prints like this; it's part of the design. The dye has been locked in so it won't bleed further.
