Vintage 1970s Valentino Silk Chiffon Dress with Quilted Bodice

This vintage 1970s Valentino dress was made in Italy, under the Valentino "Night" label. The silk chiffon is such a beautiful quality— the handfeel and movement are just unparalleled. It was originally purchased from Bergdorf Goodman in the 1970s as a custom order. The bodice features sculptural quilting, giving shape to the sweetheart neckline, almost like a bra. From the chest flows a double-layer of bias-cut silk chiffon— the layer prevents sheerness, with one layer going slightly longer at the hem to emphasize that flutter-hem effect.  This dress is so comfortable, and fun to wear to dance and move in. It also is naturally very wrinkle resistant. Made in Italy of 100% silk chiffon. There is no closure, it slips on overhead.

Measurements: The bias-cut naturally has a lot of stretch/give to it, so this will fit a range of sizes, likely X-Small, Small, Medium, possibly a Large, depending on desired fit. Shown unpinned on a size X-Small, and it definitely has room to spare, but still works. Keep in mind it slips overhead.

Chest: 33" laid flat, up to 39" (shown on a smaller chest)
Waist: 29" laid flat, up to 34+" (not meant to be fitted, it just skims the body)
Hips are flexible
Length: 38" from shoulder to hem
