This dress is just Bob Mackie doing what the iconic Bob Mackie does best! Made in the 1980s, it features a mesh cutout at the waist, with intricate beading forming a lattice pattern. The dress itself is an incredibly well-tailored black wool sheath dress. (The fiber contents are not listed, but it does feel like 100% lightweight wool.) There are so many ways to dress this up or down (think: heels versus boots, etc.) and it's honestly just timeless! The body of the dress is fully lined, and closes in the back with a hidden zipper.
