This vintage 1980s floral silk dress is so fun, and such a stand-out example of 1980s romance and maximalism. It's crafted of fine silk, with a colorful floral print. The dress is fitted through the bodice (super flattering!), with a drop waist that gives way to a sskirt with tiered flounces. It is beautifully made; each flounce is faced with a lining that creates structure and allows them to hold their ruffled shape. (The dress maintains a fitted shape through the hips, under all the flounces.) I love the cap sleeves, which have slight shoulder pads, and little bow details.
