This vintage beaded gown was made in the 90s and reminds me exactly of the dresses John Galliano was doing in the 90s through the early 2000s, both at Christian Dior and at his eponymous label. He often referenced vintage dresses from the 1930s, and this dress has that same ultra-flattering bias cut silhouette. The unique beading all over looks so rich, using beads in varying hues and shapes to create a multi-dimensional look. The open low back is so sexy yet elegant, and the fishtail hem creates a flattering mermaid shape. The dress is fully lined, with extra lining at the chest area, offering an almost "invisible bra." Note that there is no closure and the dress slips on overhead.

Measurements: Please note that this will fit a range of sizes well, as the bias-cut naturally stretches AND shrinks with the curves of the body; additionally, the open back make the bodice sizing flexible. (The fact that the dress slips on overhead with no closures emphasizes its ability to stretch to meet different bodies.) Shown unpinned on a size X-Small, will likely fit a size X-Small, Small, and Medium, but please refer to below measurements, which reflect an approximate range. Marked a size 42.

Chest: Chest is flexible due to the very open back and bias cut. Laid flat, it measures 36" but can work on smaller as well.

Waist: 30" laid flat (with about 3" give)

Hips: 37" laid flat (with about 3" give)

Length: 59" from very top of neckline to hem (would be easy to hem if desired)

NOTE: The straps could be adjusted to fit perfectly; there is about .5" to let them out, or they could be made tighter.

Great vintage condition, with some minor wear commensurate with age. There are some scuff marks toward the back hem. NO notable loss to beading (but note that some minor loss is typically expected with vintage beaded dresses.) With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
