This rare and incredible special vintage vintage Christian Dior Fall 1997 Bouclé Jacket and Skirt Set is from John Galliano's first ever ready-to-wear collection for Christian Dior, making it such an important moment in fashion history and a highly collectible piece...as we know, he went on to have such an influential, storied career at Christian Dior. For me this is like Galliano’s somewhat more sexy take on a Chanel-vibes bouclé jacket. The bouclé is so soft and beautifully made, with fringe details and silk lining. It comes with the matching skirt, as shown on the runway. It's full of special thoughtful details, like the custom button closure.
I just love how everything he did was so intentional! *Note that the fiber contents label is faded so it's difficult to decipher but the outer fabric is 100% wool and the lining is 100% silk
Measurements: This was shot clipped on a size X-Small to simulate a proper fit; it will best fit a size Medium but please refer to below measurements to be sure.

Shoulders: no shoulder seam (about 16")
Chest: around 37" laid flat, plus stretch (deep V allows for some flexibility here)
Waist: about 31" laid flat
Length: 20" from shoulder to hem (plus fringe)
Skirt:
Waist: 29" laid flat, up to 29.5" pulled taut
Hips: 39.5" laid flat, up to 40.5" pulled taut
Length: just shy of 15" long (1.5" in hem to be let out if needed)
