Circa early 2000s, this vintage Y2K Dolce and Gabbana (D&G label) dress delivers all the romance and coquettish sex appeal that vintage Dolce is best known for. It’s crafted with shaping seams throughout, for a lingerie-inspired fit. The stretch matelassé jacquard fabric has a subtle texture, with a great stretch to it that really hugs the curves, almost holding the body in like shapewear, creating a flattering silhouette. I love the wide rounded-square neckline. In the back, the straps are adjustable like a bra-strap, creating the perfect custom fit.
Measurements: This will likely best fit a modern size Small and Medium but please refer to below measurements to be sure, and note that the fabric has a lot of stretch/is meant to fit tight to the body. Shown slightly clipped on a size X-Small to simulate proper fit; marked a size 40.
