Vintage Draped Multistrand Beaded Necklace

This vintage draped multistrand beaded statement necklace reminds me of the necklaces that walked the runway in the Christian Dior Fall 1997 collection, John Galliano's first ever ready-to-wear collection for Christian Dior, and a highly influential fashion moment of the end of the 20th century. A version of this necklace walked the runway with the majority of looks (see below). Layered with handfuls of strands at graduating lengths, this necklace features gorgeous iridescent sapphire-blue seed beads, with larger semi-transparent faceted beads interspersed. Note that the piece is unsigned.
