Vintage 1950s Dual Marquise-Cut Stud Earrings

These vintage diamanté studs feature a cluster of two marquise-cut stones, with a halo of smaller accent stones. The setting is foiled, with a color that's intentionally darker to really allow the stones to pop and shine bright. They are very easy to layer with other jewelry and accessories, and I love this earring stacked with others, as shown— the closure makes it easy (and comfortable) to wear higher on the ear in addition to the lobe. They were made by Weiss in the 1950s; Weiss is known for their high quality costume jewelry from this era, crafted with handmade construction techniques which today are reserved for fine jewelry— making this piece highly collectible. They are hallmarked WEISS and finished with a clip-on lever clasp. They are very comfortable due to their intentional construction; vintage clip-on earrings are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the top quality and strategic design that went into their hand-made construction. Measures 23 mm total length x 18 mm at widest point.
