Vintage Embroidered Floral Lace Halter Gown With Matching Bolero
Vintage Embroidered Floral Lace Halter Gown With Matching Bolero
This vintage embroidered floral lace halter gown was made in the late 1960s and it features the most gorgeous graphic floral ivory lace, accented by green embroidery— a sophisticated take on the playful florals of this era. The matching bolero allows for two distinct looks. It borrows from highly-sought-after 1930s, dresses, with the halter neckline, flutter-sleeve bolero, and slinky shape. The green grosgrain ribbon forms a bow at the chest— I love how the tails are extra-long, playing off the movement and incredible sweep of the circle-cut skirt. The bodice is very fitted, with a defined yoke waistband. The bolero itself is unlined, which really allows the lace's beauty to speak for itself. The halter neck fastens behind the neck with hidden hooks, and zips at the back of the bodice. Made in the USA.
The Vintage Earrings pictured are also available.
Great vintage condition, with minor wear commensurate with age. There was a repair made to the bolero, but it's almost not possible to tell. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
