Floral and toile: these are a few of my favorite things, and this set combines both prints for a tonal patchwork effect. Made in the early 1980s, this skirt has a full shape, with three tiers of alternating prints. The blouse is meant to be worn over, with an elasticized waist forming a peplum shape. It's finished with an unusual winged shawl collar, and oversized sleeves. (The cuffs probably had more stretch at one point, but I quite like them with this almost bell shape.)
