These special vintage gem-set Byzantine earrings bear a striking resemblance to the Chanel runway earrings of the 1990s, crafted in collaboration with Maison Gripoix, renowned for their intricate glasswork. They feature a super-matte gold tone surface, with millegrain details at the edge and throughout, and purple and green cabochon glass stones. The earring itself is fine thin, making it especially lightweight, and it closes with a clip-on lever back; vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. They measure about 4 cm long x 4 cm wide.
