Vintage Gianni Versace Spring 1990 Embellished Top

This absolutely iconic vintage Versace Spring 1990 embellished top is a museum-worthy wearable work of art, hailing from Versace's heyday, when Gianni Versace was still at the helm. It was worn by Christy Turlington in the original Gianni Versace Spring 1990 runway show (see below). The craftsmanship is so unbelievable throughout. Made in Italy, it is heavily embellished with beads and embellishment of all sorts, as well as silk cording, forming a mosaic. The black silk fabric has a distinct texture that complements the intricacy of the design. The fit is incredible, with an off-the-shoulder neckline that somehow is so very flattering on everyone. A zip closure is adroitly hidden off to one side of the back, so as to not interrupt the design. It comes with a zip-lock bag of extra beading, that originally came with the top, should any of them eventually go missing. 100% silk and fully lined in silk.  

Measurements: Marked a vintage size 40/6 and shown unpinned on a size 2; it will fit a range of sizes depending on desired fit. Most likely will fit a size X-Small/Small/maybe Medium but please refer to below measurements to be sure. 

Chest: 34.5" (+about 1" give)

Waist: 30" (+about 1 inch give)

Length: just shy of 14" long down center front
