This vintage velvet top was made by Giorgio Armani in the late 1980s/early 1990s, and displays his amazing craftsmanship. The swirling shape of the velvet insets is also reminiscent of Thierry Mugler collections from this era, while also calling to mind one of Matisse's "cutouts." It has a fitted silhouette, with shaping princess seams and an emphasized waist. It zips down the back and each sleeve zips up as well to maintain the tailored look while being easy to get put on. Made in Italy; fabric tag is missing but feels like silk crepe with silk silk velvet panel inserts.
