These iconic vintage Givenchy bow logo earrings appear to be a sculptural ribbon, forming a looping bow— or, perhaps an abstract flower. Either way, they are beautifully crafted and seem to be imbued with a kinetic energy. Circa 1980s, I love that the logo is a subtle part of the design and doesn't feel overt. They are signed in two places, on the lever and interior, and are finished with a clip-on lever back. They are very light on the ear, due to their intentional construction; Vintage clip-on earrings are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the top quality and strategic design that went into their hand-made construction.
