These vintage gold bombe earrings are so incredibly well made— they are surprisingly unsigned, but I have seen an identical pair of vintage Christian Dior earrings, and they are also very reminiscent of the fine jewelry styles by David Webb and Seaman Schepps. I absolutely love the shape and textural details— the exaggerated silhouette is impactful, while their relatively demure size makes them very easy to wear. They look so expensive in person! Though they have a great dimension to them, the interior is hollow, making them lightweight and comfortable. They fasten with a clip-on lever back— vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. Measures about 3cm long x 26 mm at widest point.
