These vintage pearl earrings are so dramatic and feminine at once; made in Europe, they immediately convey that romantic sensibility. They feature a baroque gilt motif, with three pearl drops. This "Girandole" shape (a chandelier earring with three dangling ornaments suspended from a central motif) was popular through the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, particularly among Spanish and Portuguese royalty. The classic gold and pearl combination make them a perfect vintage earring option for a bride! They are finished with a clip-on lever back, and are exceptionally lightweight and comfortable. Vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction.
