I adore these 1980s star earrings, and they actually remind me of a starfish because of the way the gorgeous shade mimics a mother-of-pearl shell. In the center is a unique mound of iridescent, semi-matte sequins, surrounded by various pearls and stones set in resin, and a textured gold bezel. These are not signed, but they are very clearly Jacky de G: I've come across a nearly identical pair (signed Jacky de G) in blue, and the use of these iridescent, semi-matte sequins is a signature of hers. They are from a collector who had an extensive collection of Jacky de G and other designer runway jewelry from the 1980s.
