Vintage Off-The-Shoulder Lace Bridal Gown With Tiered Watteau-Style Train
Vintage Off-The-Shoulder Lace Bridal Gown With Tiered Watteau-Style Train
This absolutely ethereal vintage bridal gown features an alluring off-the-shoulder neckline and a tiered Watteau style train. I adore the shape of this gown, as it has a dramatic train in the back, but is more fitted in a column shape in the front, offering the perfect balance. It has an empire waist with lace details throughout. I love an-off-the-shoulder neckline because it's so flattering and a touch sexy, without showing too much skin. This one offers a lot of versatility, because it's elastic, and can be worn truly off-the-shoulder as shown, or worn higher up on the actual shoulder— it is designed to stay in place. The lace flounce at the neckline emphasizes this silhouette. The sheer sleeves are voluminous, taping towards the cuff, and complete with lace and bow details. This dress was originally made in the 1980s and lovingly restored and altered. There is a loop at the hem that can be used as a wrist loop, and a bustle can easily be added. Fastens with a hidden zip closure + hook in the back.
The Vintage Baroque Revival Pearl-Set Earrings pictured are also available.
Great vintage condition. There is some very, very minor discoloration at the lining bottom, as is to be expected with white dresses, but no issues are visible when worn, and it presents beautifully. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
