Vintage 90s Eyelet Lace Mules
Vintage 90s Eyelet Lace Mules
These vintage black eyelet lace mules were made in the 90s in Spain of the most beautiful quality, with black eyelet over mesh, with leather details creating dimension, and a grosgrain bow. The underlayer of mesh adds a bit of structure. They were made by Peggy Daven, a fine jewelry and high accessories designer known for bespoke work and exceptional craftsmanship, using skilled artisans to create one-of-a-kind pieces. When Peggy Daven opened doors in France in 1963, it quickly became very popular in Cannes among the French Riviera jetsetters, and in the 1970s, she opened her doors in New York city, later moving to Palm Beach, where a Peggy Daven boutique still stands today. The tiny heel gives these slides a bit of height, while remaining super wearable— these are VERY comfortable, and my feet are very finicky. They have an approximately 1" heel, and are best for shoe size 8.5—10. (They marked a size 38.5, in my opinion they can fit slightly larger, and they are shown here on a size 9.5/10; with mules there is always more flexibility.)
Great vintage condition; the only real signs of wear are on the bottom. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
