Circa 1970s, this bow barrette was born as a bow pin, but I thought it would be so darling worn in the hair, so I attached it to a barrette. I absolutely adore the French Provencial print and the shape of the bow. Finished with a French barrette closure in the back, which measures 1"; note that it can always be placed in the hair after it's fastened with some pins underneath, if your hair is thicker.
