This vintage seashell necklace is made by hand with genuine seashells, with shells hand-strung to form multi-strand "links," like in a metal chain. The pattern consists of three strands of ivory/camel colored shells, punctuated every inch or so with a single brown seashell. The combinations of color, the natural patterns of the shells, and the shape provided by this weaving technique gives a lot of dimension to this piece. I love the effortlessly cool, beachy feeling this gives to any look, no matter how far you are from the shore. The necklace is finished with a loop pendant. Note there is no clasp; the total drop of the necklace is 13.25" laid flat (26.5" total circumference) with the pendant extending an additional 3"
