Vintage Silver Sculptural Wave Studs

These vintage silver sculptural wave studs add a touch of minimal cool to any look. This is a vintage style that designers today, such as Balenciaga, are constantly drawing upon. They look like the work of a midcentury Mexican silver artist, although they are no signed, it is possible that that is indeed their origin. They are finisshed with a clip-on lever back, and are extremely lightweight due to their intentional construction; Vintage clip-on earrings are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the top quality and strategic design that went into their hand-made construction. Additionally, these earrings are hollow inside, decreasing their weight on the ear, while maintaining all the shape. Measures about 30 mm long x 18 mm at widest point.
